Chyna Sea Ventures (CSV) is a small publishing/distribution company established in 1997 by Norm and Jodi Brochno and is located in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada. Since then,  CSV has became a popular supplier for many businesses in North America. As well as publishing and distributing our own books and products, we also provide nautical books and maps for other publishers. These products include the Waggoner Cruising Guide, Fine Edge Nautical Publications,  Evergreen Pacific Publishing, SOBAY maps and Maptech charts, as well as Peter Vassilopoulos' cruising guides.

Mark Bunzel, owner of  Waggoner Guide Books and Fineedge.com, purchased CSV in 2012. Through this partnership with CSV's' publications, other titles are now available in the United States through the waggonerguidebooks.com site.

Publishing a number-one-selling tide and current guide for the Pacific Northwest has enabled Ports and Passes to become the cornerstone of CSV's success. Now in its 24th edition, Ports and Passes is still a hugely popular publication.
